Lauryn, and yes me, when she was a baby.
In the third grade!
Senior year...time has passed way to quickly...

I cannot believe that sweet little Lauryn Rae is graduating from High School today. WOW! I mean she was just born...I cannot even imagine how quickly Dale and Merideth will be at this milestone! Time just goes faster when there are people you love. We love, ADORE Lauryn. She is a wonderful Godly sweet, kind, loyal, innocent, lovely young lady. It has been such a pleasure, JOY, to be a part of her growing up years. I know that God has BIG things planned for this young lady and I look forward to praying for her and cheering her on as she reaches more goals. Lala will be going to college and studying elementary education. Please pray for her as she starts on this next journey in life. Also remember her sweet Mom and Daddy on this very emotional day. I have heard there have been a few "I can't believe she is already graduating tears!"

Okay so here are the kids. This was taken in February I think, by an amazing photographer Sweet Tooth. I have gotten Meri Ellis's hair cut since but it is growing out like a beautiful princess now, she is so funny. Dale had better day today and we all had ice cream sandwiches!

Okay so loyal readers...drum roll...

remember when my friend and I started blogging about weight watchers? Well that blog is not so current so I think I am going to just blog here about it. Hopefully Sweet Tooth will join me on her blog! I am going to have a sweet and generous friend make me a "plan" to get healthy! Katie I am working on the answers for you! Who knows maybe we will get famous and you can have an online business with training when I am successful!!( see positive thinking already!)

Please pray for this family. I went to High School with Ronda the wife of Trey...here is the link to get the information http://prayfortreyandtyler.blogspot.com/

THANKS!

So today the kids and I went to the mall to get Dale some new clothes. He grew overnight literally! Remember when our kids were babies and you would go in a get them after a night of sleep and they would have grown, well Dale did that. From one week he grew out of his church pants. Anyway I digressed from my purpose of writing today...

After shopping we went to the McDonald's drive thru. I got the kids a happy meal. While we were eating them Dale says he is going to give his cookies that came in it to Merideth. I thought, How Sweet...Well Dale had a motive. He decided that since he didn't have a dessert anymore he needed/deserved another one...he said it would be fine if I gave him an ice cream sandwich. So here is my problem, and the story goes on so stay with me, he gave her the cookies, not out of a giving be sweet motive but out of a self serving one so that he could get something better for himself. Okay so on with the other part...I told him NO about the ice cream. I told him NO because I had something better, for both of them. WELL...he got MAD and marched off towards his room whining and complaining about how he never gets anything good. Well I told him to come back. I showed him the cake...His eyes got big...I told him that because he ran off before I could finish telling him why I had said no to the ice cream he had made it where his attitude/his will got in the way of the cake. So now he was not getting anything...Here is the run down...Dale tried to give to Merideth something sorta okay so he could get something good but missed out of the great. He had his OWN agenda. I wonder how many many many times we, I, miss out on the cake God/Jesus has for me!! Oh and don't worry grandparents after WE ALL have a good nap he will get his cake! Oh and Merideth had the cookies and THE CAKE!

So a lot went on this weekend here in our little family.
We celebrated a little girl's birthday, she turned 3! We had a flower party and the kids planted little flowers in personalized pots, it was a lot of fun. She is decked out in princess gear!

Then on Sunday Dale got Baptized. He asked Jesus into his heart on Feb 4th. It was wonderful to see his sweet Daddy be able to baptize him. They both did great and it was VERY moving.

Oh an update on my appointment...it went great. I am now med free. Not sure how it will all go but after taking medicine for 3 years I feel like this was a great decision. It is amazing how pregnancy and life circumstances can influence chemicals so strongly and for the amount of time too. Anyway pray all goes well with that.

Well we are going to start school with Dale soon. I was planning on doing it today but was sick yesterday so we are going to wait a day or so until I can get the house and me back in order.

Okay so pictures will have to come later...still feeling a little under the weather.

Love, E

GOODMORNING!

Well I have just returned from a Home School conference. It was so fun, overwhelming, encouraging and GREAT! I was able to meet my two dearest friends who also home school and I so enjoyed being with them. It was fun to look at all the curricula and decide what to use. I will break it down later but we were able to buy all that I will need for next years school. I really enjoyed hearing Mike Farris speak. I am reading the book his wife wrote and it is WONDERFUL. Thanks for the tip Sue!

Well we have a full day around here. I have a dr appointment this afternoon that I am not looking forward to going to , pray it goes well. It is for mental health!

Okay well I am going to engage around here!

Love all,
E
