In just a few short weeks I am going to get on a plane and go see some of my best ever friends. We are going to laugh, play, have makeovers, go to swanky sewing stores, stay in really nice hotel, eat (in moderation see previous posts) and just enjoy the fellowship of good friends. These ladies love the Lord and me. They have seen me through temper tantrums, the kids and mine, pregnancy issues, and postpartum depression, a military move where I still feel like I am setteling in after 2 and a half years and just life if general. To say I am looking forward to being with them is an understatement...I dream of spending more time with them...and in a few weeks I will get too.

Hello! Well things are not so busy I have an excuse not to post...not that any one is interested in one anyway!

We just got back from being at my parents farm for the long weekend. It was a lot of fun. My sister and her husband were there too. My family took a trailer to sleep in. Made things a lot easier as far as room and space goes. It is really neat to see the kids at the farm. I remember playing there as a kid and I pray that my children will too. The weather was cold and wet but it was okay because the wheat needed rain. We were able to get out on Sunday and Dale learned how to shoot a bb gun. It is a gun that Stephen had as a child, his father had it refurbished for him. Merideth helped Nonnie and Heather Belle shell pecans, I think she ate more than she helped!

I have started back on Weight Watchers. I feel better, well if you don't count the cold I have now! You can hear about the progress over at
http://2starvingsisters.typepad.com/weblog/ Sorry I don't know how to do those cool links! My BFF and I are doing it together and it is going well so far!

Well I better go and be a Mother!

Things are going so much better than they were on my last post. We circled in, round up the wagons so to speak. Prayer is a wonderful thing. So, when I was talking about a battle for our children I meant it. Dale was having a battle going on for him, and JESUS is now Lord of his life. Dale very sweetly and sincerely asked Jesus into his heart Monday night. Please don't think I am saying that b/c Dale did this is just made him act better. But do hear me when I say that the inner conflictions is him are settled. Literally I prayed over that sweet boy, family and friends did as well. So family and friends expect a call from a sweet brown eyed boy telling you about Jesus in his heart! Oh what joy!

Just keep praying, just keep praying!! Today was and is better than yesterday. I kept them both home from Mother's Day Out. I just really hate the battle that we often times have to wage for our children...not the work involved but the emotional toll it takes on my mind and heart. I am blessed to have been raised by Godly parents that intilled in us to Love God, and I know they ran before the thrown with signs and petitions on my and my brother and sister's behalf. (In fact they still do) I also have a husband that believes in this battle and friends that will hold me up in prayer at times like these. Well I better go and interact with the babies. A friend recommened a web site http://www.raisinggodlytomatoes.com/ I urge you to look at it. It has been most helpful to me.
